A band I'm working with is using an accordion, anyone have experience micing one for live shows?

A pair of 57's if you need volume. A pair of 81's if it's more or less a relatively quiet "acoustic set."

I left my piano accordion in the back seat of my car once, when I came back my rear window was smashed and someone had thrown another accordion in there! :D

I modded an EV podium mic capsule and clipped it to the treble side on mine.

Works beautifully...

I believe I used an EV RE27 for a song years ago, but it was in the studio and not live. Using great compression is the key to making it sound right in the mix.

I've used the two SP B1's in a studio situation but never in a live enviroment.
