i need to use my 12 string acoustic live and have no pick up or money to buy one. so my only option is to mic it.
i have:

1 sm-58
1 sm-57
behringer b1
rode nt 1

in the studio i would use the nt1 and the sm57 but is this practical to use live?

Neither is ideal. The rode would be prone to feedback on stage. The 57 just doesn't sound that great and you'd have to stay pretty still (and close) to get a consistent sound.

My suggestion would be to sell the behringer mic and get a DM pro mag, or even one of the stick-on transducer pickups. Just a thought.
