Tips on storing condenser mics.

Should I keep the silica gel packet with the microphone in a sealed plastic bag to keep moisture out. I live in San Francisco so it's doesn't get humid here. Other tips?

Keeping the silica gel packet in the mic case and keeping the mic in its case is sufficient.

Use the plastic bag with silica gel on the mic if you have to leave it mounted on the stand for an extended period, like overnight....

Mics are best kept in their cases.... or one of those multi-mic road cases with a few silica packets thrown in (that's what I use...)
