Got to do a recording of a cello
Just one player

Was thinking a apex 460 any other ideas.

Still pimpin' MSH, eh?

Good to see some things never change.

You are like the sun and the stars, MSH and Carvin.

Reassuring, actually.

How's it goin', dude?

Cello is one place where ribbon mics really shine:) I have found that unless you keep the mic pretty far back, LD condensors usually don't do as well on cello as they do on other things.

Thanks for the info will need to try it

I have a pair of CAD E-100s I use on cello. One near (below) bridge and one out about 2-3 feet in the room.
Sounds really nice.
Have sound clips if you need them.
