Mic for an iso-cab

I walk the line
Just picked up a used Randall iso-cab with a JBL E-120 in it. The Randall info on the net recommends using a condensor in it (not sure why), yet they show a pic with a 57 in it. The guy who had it before me used an MXL 990 in it.

I'd like opinions on what to get to try in it, and whether or not you all think a condensor is required. The possible contenders I've already got are a 57, an MXL V67, and a Behri ECM 8000. The only other mics I've got (in working condition) are a 58 and an SM-7B.
 
Oh, and I might be swapping out the JBL for a Vintage 30. I'm on the fence about that one at the moment. Not asking for opinions as to whether or not to do that, just thought it might make a difference as to which mic you might recommend.
 
After trying several mics in my iso set up we decided the SM57 is best overall. For cleaner sounds the SDC we used was more detailed than the 57, but did not handle crunchy stuff well at all. For one part where we wanted a massive low end we used a bass drum mic CAD KBM412 that turned out a really nice track, also used that set up for a more jazz guitar sound nice detail with all the whomp.
 
Why not try all of them and see what difference each contains ?
