Today I bought an se electronics SE2200a (haven't had the change to try it yet), and the silver case it comes in is well, made like shit.

Do you guys know of any manufacturer from which I could get a quality replacement from? One that would hold the mic with it's shockmount.

Keep in mind im in the UK too.

Hey CM!
I bought an sE2200A off of e-bay and it only came with a small black lockable case just large enough for the mic only.
I called Sonic Distribution and they sold me a monster sized case and the shockmount for $100 US.
You should give them a call and see what they can do for you.
I think they are www.sonic-distribution.com
You will love the mic.
Please see my se2200A comments on the Studio Stuff page of my website:

Thanks for your help, your studio looks awesome. However, I believe I see the case under your desk, and it is the same as mine :( . It really is poorly built, and to add to it one of my buckles is a bit dodgy and I don't trust myself carring it by the handle

Search under user name DJL for threads discussing mic cases.

He used to buy some sort of silver case from Harbor Freight that he claimed worked quite well.
