mic cables on ebay?

anyone ever buy mic cables off "hotwired cables" on ebay? they hand solder neutrik xlr's w/ mogami cables, just wonderin if anyone's delt with them?

I haven't done any business with hotwired, but others have recommended their cables here. I have bought cables on ebay from Nnissel, he sells hand made canare star-quad cables with neutrik connectors for a slightly better price. I have been pleased with both of the cables I bought from him. You can also get the cables in ten different colors, which helps keep you from getting confused if you're recording a bunch of things at the same time.

I've bought a few cables off that guy before I found out you could save a few bucks making them yourself. He seems pretty cool cat and has provides quick service. The cables he makes are pretty good also. Except for the neutrik connectors, to me they just feel cheap. But thats just me.

I bought some mic and D-Sub cables from Hotwired about a year and a half ago (Mogami w/Switchcraft and Neutrik connectors). The cables are still going strong. They are very cool people to deal with.

I have also delt with them and have been satisfied. I wont buy from them again as I will be buying in bulk and making my own.
