MSH1A Cradled.

Hi Folks,
Having taken delivery of & played with my new mic, & deciding that it's truly ACE I decided to look after it. Here are a couple of snaps of the cradle I made from some storm water pipe & rubber bands. It's an old idea I know but Oh So Easy & effective.
The mic seems to have no "contra indications" being deployed in this manner either.

looks like it would work well. i'd probably go with a smaller diameter pipe though.

Not to piss in your cheerios, but won't the pipe totally mess with the pickup pattern, since they're omnis? Let us know how they sound.

I'm with scrubs........Its an omni and I think the walls of the pipe will do funky things to the sound.

I'll let you know who it goes. The cap sits proud of the pipe. I'll do a test this weekend.
