metronome has dissapeared in Essentials

I've had my copy of essentials for about 3 months now and i'm having a blast recording my band. recently though, i've noticed that the metronome has gone awol!

I've done the obvious of pressing c to activate it but no sign. i've checked the metronome setup to make sure the volume is up, which it is, and as far as i know, i haven't messed with any other metronome settings since i bought my copy.

even when i open up a brand new project, the click is still silent.

can anyone help?

I don't have cubase in front of me right now, but I seem to remember there being a click option in the VST Connections panel from the devices (?) menu. Have a look in there. I cant remember exactly but its one of the columns in the menu.

Worth a check anyway.

Try the "CLICK" button in the transport window..

waffle is right, in the connections pannel theres a check box for the click on whatever output you want to hear it on. Tends to dissapear if you're working with templates that don't have a click.
