thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it.

setup: nord electro 2 organ (8,6,5,4,5,5,3,6,4)(V1 & fast leslie, no perc.) mono into a DMP3. Quick 'n' dirty.

I thought that was so cool.
You hear all those tones, notes, and timing, and you do em!!! That is another reason I love it. Adventurous!!! Keep up the 'out there' sounds!!!![]()
I'm glad you didn't "cut and paste".
By the way guys, the ones I have been able too listen to were great! I thought you all did fantastic jobs on this.
Now if I can figure out how to set my Modem properly, I will be able to listen to more.
I love these Rumbles, I hope ya never stop doing them!!
Very cool solo. Fit perfectly with the track. Nice and flashy at times, but tons of melody. I liked it a bunch. Les Paul into POD....direct? I ask just because I have a POD XT, and have been playing with mic'ing an amp, verses direct. Nice tone on yours.evhwanabe said:Well this sounded cool so I decided to give it a shot.........
I don't consider myself a metal player but hope you guys dig it.
Done with a hang over ;-( w/ les Paul into Pod XT
Thanks

That was great!!!! I liked the low tones you brought in, and that 10sec wild thing at 1:00. I wish that would have been longer. The ending was cool!!!mixmkr said:here's a shot at this. That was good. Nice to hear the keyboards. If I could play better, I just might get in on one of these myself. Hmmmmmm, we'll have to see how brave I am.shiatzu said:I didn't listen to any of the other entries yet so i could do mine unbiased.. i've got to head to work in a lil' bit so it's not as tight as i'd like (3rd take), but hey.. it's all in fun.

One to describe the cymbals....annoying (don't want to insult anyone though)
I am not sure I listened to the right one. Sergo?, or something like that.Wireneck said:http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=3299&alid=-1
I suck at improv and my first notion for something melodic like this would be to go for a more slow/harmonized sounding lead but since this is a "whole take only" type rumble, I obviously didn't want to start overdubbing and ruining the spontaneous feel.
This was my second take. I stopped at the 1 minute mark because im not the type to try and play 5 min solos, i was out of fresh ideas before 30 secs was up haha but oh well. I had fun while it lasted.
That was very nice work. It gave me a 'want to get up and go for a ride', in a convertable, down the hiway in New Mexico.Jack Real said:Hi
Here is mine. It's called "Lead for Metalhead's Rumble" on the page:

It's a long song so you need some endurance to keep the pace until the end but it's a very good rhythm track to work from.
