Metal: Idle Hands......comments????

Just looking for some constructive criticism on this one....I have recently recorded 8 songs for a local band and this is one that I would like to have some of you guys have a listen to and tell me what you think.....

Intro guitar riff is cool. Drums seem to work well. Vocals are cool. I can't understand him, but I think that is what they went for.

For me, this works pretty well. You could probably beef the guitars up a bit, and have it still sound really cool. I mean have them be more overpowering in the mix. But. as is, I like it much. Cool sounds man.
 
Mix sounds good. Sorry, didn't listen all the way thru. Generally, if I can't understand the words to heavy bands, I just don't listen. :)

But the starting was really cool. Just thought I'd say so. The drums sound really cool, too.

I agree....I listened in the car on the way to work and the guitars are just too low....Ill correct that in about a week....since I just got married this past saturday...ill be leaving today for my HONEYMOON!!!!!! :D

welp...I returned yesterday and have gotten back to work on these mixes....I updated the link above but here it is again incase you are too lazy to scroll back up to the top and get it....:p

I like this man...it's pretty powerful. I should do more of this genre, as the lyrics might be right up my alley.... :D

I think you got quite a bit of punch here. It's not lacking for anything really. Very driven man...

The kick was triggered...that stuff belonged to the drummer so he hooked it up and just handed me the output cable. I have no clue what module or brand of trigger or anything... 3 hi toms and 1 floor tom all were mic'd with Sennheiser e604's. Snare was mic'd with an Audio Technica ATM29HE. I like that mic better than a 57 on snare...seems to have more pop to it...maybe its just me...but with a little eq'ing in the high end, its just right. For OH's...I threw up a pair of MK-012's...the russian ones....these are some awesome little mics.

This mix is really comming along great...thanks for all the comments and suggestions.
 
I like the song, especially the part with the triplets. The reverb on the vocals don't do it for me, but I'd say that's more of a stylistic thing than anything else.

EDIT: Congratulations, man!
