Mesa single recto??

there's someone selling a single recto around here, and I was thinking of buying it...

Anyone familiar with it?.. Are the cleans usable.. gain sufficient??
with a LP baritone in B, what cabs would be the shit??

I have a Solo 50 head and love it, I use 2 Avatar 2/12 cabinets.
The nice thing is that when you want to replace the tubes, you only have to replace 2 power-tubes, and you can use EL34's as well as 6L6's.

A lot of folks "slam" the front end with a tubescreamer/badmonkey/other OD pedal, but I've found the gain to be sufficient. haven't used one for cleans much though, but what little I have I've found usable.
