I know. Now I can go in the basement and burn candles around the pentagram I have painted on the floor.

What microphone will best capture the sounds of animal sacrifice? I know, I'll use my Shure SM666! :p

Good choice. Don't forget, you're gonna need a pre with a lot of clean gain for the SM666.

Out of morbid curiosity, I did a google image search for the Shure SM666, and all I got was a few pictures of weed...

Yeah, weird. They were mostly from Grasscity. I surfed around in there for a bit. Sigh, it reminded me of my friends from back in the '90's.

I've got quite a lot of mics in my cabinet.
Shure Beta52a (3)
Shure SM57 (9)
Shure SM58 (2)
Karma K35 (2)
Karma K10 (4)
Karma K-Micro (14)

I love those Karma mics. Sounds awesome to me. The Shure ones always do the job.

Added a couple and gave away a couple. The pics people have posted are really nice, and I'd post a picture if I actually had them all here to take one, but I have a bunch lent out to friends for various recording/performing projects (I'm sort of the local microphone lending library:D). In any event, an updated list:

And some weird mic that someone used to use as a kick mic that has some strange quality to it.

Ha! Me too. Barely.
How old is this fucker now, anyway?

I'm just surprised that I started one that has lasted so long. This is my first time on in a while.

I just added on of these bad boyz...
Heil Heritage

It works well for my voice, in that it seems to clear up my mud mouth, but it really seem to come in to its own in video voice-over. Very 'present,TV' sounding.

That's nice. I hadn't seen one before. Channeling Elvis now.:D

I've been building them up since I became a member on this site, so not too long.

2 Naiant X-M's (matched)
2 Shure SM57
1 Shure Beta57a
1 Apex 210
3 Cad GXL3000
1 Audix F-14
1 Blue Kickball

and that's it for now. How am I doing?
I really want to pick up a RE20.
