Very cool rimmic--but I now feel a little less special. When folks come in to my studio and look at all the cool toys, they often check out the salt shaker mic. Now I can't say, "I don't know anyone else who's got one!" Instead, I have to say "I don't know anyone else in North America who's got one," and then hope they don't go to Spain!

OK, confession time. Here's my collection *before* HR bbs (just a couple of years ago) -- one Shure Unisphere B that I picked up for $10 in the late 80's and used from time to time. I was perfectly happy with it:
