media offline

i recently recorded some files onto my MR-8 and went to put them on Acid Pro 4. Everything was fine with the usb but when i saved the file(which worked perfectly fine on my acid pro) and then disconnected the USB cable, i realized later that it was saved onto acid pro but when i open it, it says media offline and will not play the tracks. Is there anyway i could recover the music from acid pro? Because I reformatted the card already and i need the music back.

You said you saved the files in Acid? I'm not familiar with Acid, but I know that when I save my music files using the Wave Manager, I have to specify which folder to save them into.

If you saved them to your pc, they have to be in a folder somewhere. Try to find them. They are most likely saved as .wav files.

I know this isn't much help, but I have never encountered this problem.
