This place is getting a little chaotic, so I hope this bores...I mean, relaxes you...

Is the thunder supposed to be there. It is a bit too loud. I also think it could use some nice lead solo with it there. Just a suggestion. :)

At the end, it's supposed to be an explosion and then the sounds of war, etc..Just to contrast the rest of the song...Too much? Doesn't have the effect I thought it might? I'll take it out if it's too much, I just added it last minute, so it's not written in stone.

Yes....the '70's Song' and Dirty Water are still there, but this just gives me those chills that ....well you know. :D Of course each of those songs are of a different style, so I guess they are all my favourites!!! :)

I wouldn't take it out Rami. I like the effect a lot!! Just a little tweaking. I had edited my post, so you might want to read it again, about the guitar.

Sounds of war?....I like to think of it as a thunderstorm, the butterfly flies through to get to you....but I am a sentimentalist!!! :D

By the way, I am just enjoying listening... :cool:
 
I also like the way the song starts back up after the Thunder/war. :D

I have already downloaded and it is going round and round on the player.
 
Thanx True...It might be too long of a pause, but about 10 seconds into the explosions, I fade the music back in. Sort of like your idea to have a guitar solo...

LPC...Rami style...I have to say I wrote this tune a while ago, before I heard them, just took me a long time to get around to recording it. Any resemblance to actual living bands is purely co-incidental. I don't hear it, but I'll take it as a compliment. :)

What, the song isn't as loud? Or the explosions? If you mean the explosion, I don't think they were loud. They just surprised you the first time...hehe...:)

As soon as I get some free time.......my oldest daughter just got married to an un-employed dumbass, been installing new sewer lines here at the house, been working 60 hours at the shop.... hardly enough time to drink myself to sleep!!!
 
Wow...Rami plays the blues!!!Super tight playing man.I really like the bass guitar on this...nice and punchy, sits in the mix perfectly...wish I could my bass to sound like that!Guitars have a great crunch to em...vocals are just awesome as usual.The vocals kinda give this a power pop/blues vibe instead of the hardcore blues I was expecting when the song kicked off.Solo is very tasteful and fits perfectly.Cool explosion, bet that would be a cool part for the video ;) Awesome tune dude!!

Thanx buddy. yeah, I'm not a real bluesman, so this is the melody I had inmy head from the beginning. Thanx about the guitar sound, I'm always trying to improve that.

I'm beginning to think those explosions should be thunder, etc...After all, the tune is called "Sky"...D'uh, how did I miss that?

Ok, from now on, it's thunder. :D

It worked this time - yeah.
Nice intro.
Nice perspective with the lyrics. the 1st What pause seems to have something odd - is it a little bit of guitar crunch hanging over the edge? I'm not sure I listened back a couple of times without being able to put a finger on it. It might just be the shock of it.
I like the accapella section. Nice touch.
Sometimes the harmonies get almost Eagles tight. I like the Beatles reference too.
Now, it's time to match on down to the crossroads & take on Tenacious D as they seem to have replaced Robert J at the fork.
 
Thanx alot RayC. Yes, that first pause has the guitar just spilling over. I decided to keep the imperfection instead of cutting it. When I cut the guitar at that part, it sounds edited. Maybe I'll get off my lazy ass and just re-track a 5 second guitar part.

Is the Beatles "reference" at the end too obvious? Just scared that it crosses the line from "reference" to "rip-off".
 
Nice man.....the way it started it reminded me of Lovin, Touchin and Squeezin....A tune I haven't heard in years, but secretly like..... :D

Cool tune man....very good vibe. Nice sounds all around man....just a happenin rocker. Love the leads and fills you played...they fit very nicely....excellent playing man. Lyrics are pretty cool. I like the tune much man.....
