Not sure what this comment means. I like helping a newbie, but our dumbed down soceity needs a serious kick in the ass. Even at my old age, I try google first, then search the forum before posting a question?
If he got as far as registering to post, and then posting, he should have enough brain power to search for an answer instead of asking for one handed to him. AND, what exactly was he asking?

Well, Washburn, I suppose from that perspective... it does sound pretty 'out there' (or up the garden with the talking gnomes)... I just assumed he wasn't exactly deft with the description of his requirements though seemed to be asking for advice on setting up a 'hybrid' (analogue/digital/best-of-both-worlds) mixing setup. Obviously, once you have a DAW, I can't see the point of keeping tape, I'll grant you.
