Me and my friend recorded this.

Hey, give it a listen, and please comment. My friend originally recorded this on his computer, atleast the leads and one of the rythm guitars using just direct line in. So i told him i would shape it up a bit. :) So with the studio monitors i went and did the eq over for him. Recorded my accoustic guitar to double his rythm guitar. He played the leads also. I did the drums and bass.

I think i need to redo the compression on the drums though.

Using headphones here.

Drums seem too overpowering - compression or level issue, I guess.

The acoustic track is hip - and the lead is absolutely hammering - bring it more forward in the mix.

There is also something funky going on in the freq's. The guitars seem too tinny, and that kick drum is pounding in my brain - hehe.

haha, i do agree with everyone of those things. I quickly did the compressions and i think i took out to much high end when i did the eqing. If you listen to it and have a bar eq to look at your can see there is barely any of the high end. Well i'll have to go fix all this. And the drums compression is just kinda funky. Ah well ill fix it tomorrow and post it again for an opinion on a better copy.

I agree with the above.

The guitar sounds absolutely buried.
