Mbox 2 any good?

Hello,

I am trying to choose recording software and equipment and I am new at this. I was going to buy Pro Tools interface and software and I'd like some feedback.
What are the pros and cons of recording with an Mbox 2?

From what i know, the Mbox 2 isn't quite as good as the Mbox1 due to Digidesign changing the preamps which aren't as good (Still good, but not 'quite' as good as the original).

Definitely a good little box and getting the software with it is a bonus. Only slight downside to using it (Which concerns all digidesign users) are the drivers sometimes play up with other applications (iTunes, Quicktime etc). Easily sorted out though so don't think it's a serious issue.
