hehe

maybe you could record their reactions & post a clip??

it's funny :D

It just so happens that I've got couple of cheap spare micro CMOS colour cameras and a 2 channel mini video transmitter. My speakers are now on stands, quite high off the ground, and they're heavy, and they're very very, how would you say....
....wobbley!
I could install one CMOS device into where the tweater is and the other further away, giving more of an 'elevation' view.

I want to try and create a toddler pancake.....and record it.

Would that be ok?

maybe IT IS the 'nipple' effect.....posted earlier.

The shiny concave surface reflects their widdle faces & the fisheye distortion emphasises their noses &, as is their want, they try to put their widdle fingah up their reflected nose & hey presto, pressed in dome. Snot exactly the response you were after I guess but if a kid's gonna muccus about with the speaker membrane you'de better hope they pick a winner.

There's also the idea that rugrats poke *everything*. It's just the dustcaps and dome tweeters are two of the few items that don't recover from the poking.

We've probably all poked at a speaker coe as well in our time. We just don't remember it as well because the results weren't as asthetically carastrophic.

Poke a cone, move on. Poke a dustcap, and like a tell-tale heart it'll remind you that you poked it every time you look at it every day for the rest of it's life.

they're back, soon to be released on VCD, or some other crummy format.

Hi .....been a while since you've last seen this thread....
just to let ya'all know that everything is in it's place, 2 X video and audio feeding remotely to my PC of my 'balancing act' speaker system.

Those small children are coming back (the crumb munching, jelly covered, poo grinding cone killers) this weekend, and for once in my miserable fucking life, I'm looking forward to it.
