I've been looking for a good sound card for my pc (for home recording). I've been recomended the Delta 66, which runs about $350. Is this a good card? I won't need to record more
than 4 tracks at a times. I am a bit concerned with the lack of a midi in. Can a midi in be bought as a seperate card when I need one?

check out another threads about it.

Yes it is a Exellent sound card, also you may want take a look in the delta 44, 4 ins 4 outs too.

You can buy from midiman too, the 1 midi in and 1 out or 2x2.

I got my Delta 66 from http://www.bayviewproaudio.com for $299. It's basically identical to the 44 except for the addition of stereo S/PDIF digital I/O, so if you have or plan to get a DAT or a POD Pro or Johnson J-Station or anything else that has a digital out, this would be a very handy additional feature.

I find the Delta card to be excellent. One of the reasons I bought it was that I already had a MIDI interface -- the Midiman Midisport USB 2x2. If you want a MIDI interface too, check out the Gadget Labs WavePro series.

i've had my delta 66 for some time now.. the only thing about it that I dont like is that the four inputs are mono, so if your recording stereo tracks you can only do two at a time (2 lefts & 2 rights)

ended up buying it

Thanks, I ended up buying 1 from bayviewproaudio. Best price I found anywhere.
