Can a guitar be connected directly into one of the inputs or is a line driver

it can with a 1/4 to rca cable but I'm not sure you'd get much of a signal....if your going to try that, at least hook the guitar up to a DI Box

Don't connect your guitar to the RCA's.. they're line level. Connect your DI box to the XLR in's with the mic pre... you could try connecting it directly to the XLR and cranking the mic pre, but most likely it will sound like complete ass.
