I've got a soundboard recording of my band from a few weeks back. The recording is fairly good but the vocals are mixed a little high, guitars a little low. I'll try to get an mp3 online soon but in the mean time any general tips on how better recordings of this nature? I've also got a video recording which can be viewed/heard but im not sure if this can be melded well, the bass tops out a lot causing everything to distort, maybe this can be overcome through some eq?

This is the one thing that a multiband compressor would be good at. That and some EQ should be able to make it listenable.
