These posts never really make much sense... But I suppose if I had a "typically connected" chain (which I do), it's the Crane Song HEDD into a Dangerous BAX into a Crane Song IBIS into a Manley Variable-Mu into a Crane Song STC-8M into the HEDD.
Which units are actually engaged (all have hard bypasses) and the settings used -- totally dependent on what any particular mix is asking for.

I guess you wanted different answers..if its OTB AVALON mastering EQ, colored compressor, HEDD, brickwall limiter, DAW--EQ, COMP, EQ, COMP, LIMITER
