Mastering Deck: 30 ips

Not to highjack this thread, but since people brought up the Tascam 52, I was wondering: did Tascam make a two-track to match their TSR-8? (i.e. like the tascam 32 and 38, 42 and 48, etc...)? I'm in the market for a 1/4" 2-track and I'm loving my TSR-8....
 
BR-20 is the same generation 1/2 track deck as the TSR8. one day I will have one to go with my TSR8.
 
Nope...don't need it. Trust me. I have a BR-20T and even before setting it up (calibrating) there was no need for noise reduction. If you find that you have some need for noise reduction then you can get a DX-2D and do the mod so that it operates with the BR-20T or get something like a dbx 150X, but honestly, I can't imagine needing noise reduction.
