The pickguard on my D-35 has noticeably lifted near the bridge in the past couple of months. I recall reading somehwere long ago that this was a problem Martin had with glues, but I can't find anything about it now.
The humidity this winter may be having something to do with it, although it hasn't been that consisently dry here.
Has anyone else had this problem ?

Yea, it happened to my Dad's D-35. It also has to do with the material they make the pick gaurd out of. I sent it back to Nazereth for him and the repair was free but they had his guitar for about 6 months.

stew-mac.com has the glue and tool you need to repair the problem, or take it to an authorized Martin repair center aand have repaired for free, or pay $25 or so for a good tech in your area to fix it.

To DIY, You'll need a good quality water clean- up epoxy safe to use on you guitars finish and a surenge with a long needle. I think you get the idea from here. Stew-mac has the stuff you need to fix, unless you need a surenge and tube of unused epoxy, it will be about the same money and less hassle to have a local tech do it.
