Harvey has commented on the 2003, not the v69....they are supposed to be the same mic, but its not sanitary to put words in other peoples mouths.....

I thought the V93 was supposed to be the same as the 2003, just with the Mars house number. At least, that's what I thought somebody here said.

When you put a tube in one of these mics (actually in any mic), it becomes a very different mic.

MLX V 69 or 6?...They did have a tube with this designation at one time I belive..It was silver in color..never heard it it was in a catalog...It also included the 77 in that catalog..

I have one. Sounds like it has a tube in it. It plugs into a little box, and sounds warm. It's real pretty, and the grille is very shiny.
