Hi, newbie here.

Would marble tile be a good reflective floor surface for a small home studio? I'm currently trying to build a basement studio and was wondering about this.

Anything from concrete or wood or marble is going to be basically the same as far as its reflectivity. Not sure marble would be my choice as it scratches easily.

Being a tile/stone installer for 26 years I would not recommend marble for any high traffic floor.

It's a pain to keep clean in a high traffic area and if you drop anything fragile ..... b r o k e n !!!

I don't have marble but my control room has a tile floor, I was going to cover it with wood, but with a small rug and the ceiling clouds the room sounds great. It is also good with the chair wheels on it. Marble should be similar, where in the world are you? Marble is an Indian standard for a good floor covering?

Alan.
