Mapex Mars series

Hey Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone out there has good knowledge of the Mars series. If you do, how do they sound and does $2000 for an 8pce kit, no cymbals, and iron cobra pedals sound like a resonable price?????

Do you mean the Pro M or the regular M series? There is a big different.

Also, its an 8 piece but what are the drums and the sizes? 2 bass drums, 5 toms, and a snare? 1 bass, 6 toms, snare? 2 bass 6 toms no snare? U get the point.
 
Sorry, its a Pro M kit.
Im not 100% sure on the drum sizes and its a 9 piece not an 8 piece. Its got 2 bass, 6 toms and 1 snare. Sorry i cant be more specific about the sizes. Thanx tilinmyowngrave for sort of straightening that out, now that you have that info is it possible to get some decent feedback about the price?????

I'm pretty sure the Mapex Pro M 9 piece sizes are
: Double kick 20"/20"
: Snare 15"
: 4xR/Toms 8"/10"/12"/14"
: 2xF/Toms 15"/16"

Also, I looked up the "mapex mars", and this came up from the Tuscon Weekly
"Mapex Mars Pro 9 piece drum set. Midnight black, Black Panther Birdseye maple snare,
Zildjian/Paiste cymbals. $1,500 obo. 907-9236"

bcains can i ask you how long ago that was featured, plus is tuscon weekly and gold coast thing or is it in brisbane aswell????? that sounds like a pretty mad kit. please respond asap

No not in australia, im pretty sure thats in Arizonia.

The 9 piece mars sets are pretty rare, didnt find much on them at all.
And for the Pro M 9 peice, you are best to go to a drum centre and maybe they can order them in, not sure thou.

Thanx bcains, i just assumed it was an aussie thing cause ur location is the coast. Thanx neway. Yeah i love playing the double bass kits, theve got an awsome feel about them. But ive always had a problem looking for them, i the best that ive played is a tama starclassic maple, but there a bit pricey so i was thinking to go for a mapex or somthing, thanx again
