making it into an mp3

I finally finished a song in. Sonar 8 its mixed and everything but now I don't know how to make it into an mp3 I was told that sonar has another program that u send the whole mix to and u finish up the mix and convert but I can't find the name?
 
The Sonar mp3 encoder is a plugin you will need to purchase.

Just download RazorLame or Audacity (which still uses the free Lame encoder)to do your conversions.

Audacity as Rabbit has suggested will do the job, but when you download it, unless things have changed recently, you have to separately download the LAME encoder... so don't forget that...

Then you open up Audacity, find your track and export as MP3 from the file menu, from memory. Easy.

Chalk up another suggestion for RazorLame. It's my favorite front end for my favorite encoder.
 
Thanks guys I downloaded razor but I have 1 more problem when I open up the file its showing up my instrumental track my vocals in seperate wav files likes it not all mixed together what am I doing wrong
 
Did you select 'Entire Mix' when you exported the song out of Sonar?
