Major problem dp02-cf

Okay, When II record everything is fine right.

NOW when i play back i hear this very high pitched tone.
i noticed it happens even if my mic is off. i dont know how to fix it

if i lower the volume you wont be able to hear my recording and it sounds horrible if that annoying beeping sound

Something I've heard and am displeased with about the DP02cf...

is a high pitched squeal picked up in the unit, thru the audio and preamps.

I believe it to be self-noise of the unit from a very poorly shielded power supply module, which shows up most when the preamps are at high or full gain.

I've heard this and have seen also that the DP02cf's PSU throws a lot of interference noise into adjacent audio lines and other equipment.

I've considered building a project box which would be a properly grounded metal box enclosure for the inline power module. It doesn't seem that hard of a thing to build, but it's as yet TBD.

I believe it to be a noise that's inherent in a poor design. I doubt very much if you exchanged the unit that it would be any different.

Sorry for the dismal opinion of this problem. The other features of the unit are fine, but this was one big flaw I've found. I've heard this annoying sound on my own demos.

One way to minimize it was to turn the gain down on the DP-02's preamps and use an external mixer with better gain,... but it's only minimizing the problem and not eliminating it. The DP02's PSU induces noise and interference in adjacent gear, as well as itself.
