Noise Criminal
Today I'm working on my Toa RX-7 and came across somethng odd. Some output transformers have a different resistance than others. The trannies are Tamaradio OT-373s and have five wires:
Black = shield
Red = Primary
Brown = Primary
Yellow = Secondary
Orange = Secondary
I started measuring the primaries on 6 transformers and found half have a resistance of 35 ohms and the rest are zero ohms. This can't be normal. Am I seeing the symptoms of magnetized transformers?
