I wonder if you all could lend some help with this. I assume this might be a soundcard or input issue, so here goes...
My bass is played through a sansamp bass driver, then out to the soundblaster audigy LS via 1/8 jack. No mixer here. I hear the bass only on the left channel. The question is, what do I need to do to hear my live input in stereo with this setup? Do I need like a special stereo jack somewhere?
Thanks!

The best you can do is hear it on two channels mono. You need a splitter cable to hook the signal into both the left and right channels.

That sound practical but...my soundcard only has one line in.

It's probably a stereo input jack and you can use an 1/8th inch stereo plug.

.

Or you can get an actual sound card ment for recording that has Ballanced inputs and then you would get audio out both speakers but you can expect you unballanced inputs to ouput ballanced audio without useing an adapter cable......

For the Price of a High end Audigy 2 Card you can Buy a Good recording PCI card with multiple Inputs/Outputs which would solve this problem and Make your recording sound much better....

:)

yeah..........u will probably need the 1/8 stereo adapter or do what i used to when i had no clue what i was doing.......i had a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter and i was having the same problem as you, but i found that if you just plug it in the jack about halfway or so, you can get the stereo sound. But i would definitely go with an interface or at least get the proper adapter
