I have here a very nice Mackie mixer for sale. I bought it six months ago and have since upgraded to an 8 bus. I used it for recording only in my studio. All channels work flawlessly and there are no scratchy pots. It is a very clean piece of equipment. I am asking $600USD plus shipping. Shipping within the continental US is usually around $60-80. I am located in NY. PM me if you want to see pics or have any questions.

I have used the same model board for the last 5 years and it's been great for me. True, an 8 busser would make things a bit easier but this is a good deal for an analog board all the same. Just my $.02, Dave.

i've got a mackie 24*4 as well, and it's a solid board. nice to be able to give 6 headphone feeds to the band, the preamps are clean if nothing else, and there are a lot of em.

if you think about it, this is roughly $25 per channel, and the preamps are more or less on par with anything Studio Projects, Rane, etc., offers and better than the Beri, Nady, etc., offerings. just avoid the eq. :P if you tap the channel inserts for direct outs, you'll have a certainly functional sound.

cheers,
wade

I should state that is $600 or best offer. I will put this thing on ebay in a couple of days.

Still for sale. First one to give me $500 plus shipping gets it.

Somebody please buy this so I don't sell my right kidney for it.

man I'd like to consider this.. PM me a price if I come get it, and where you live.

Thanks.

I also own the 24.4 VLZ Pro. Excellent board and very reliable. Mine is only for PA use.

If you bought a Mackie 8-buss, you might hold onto the 24.4... the 8-buss boards were known to be unreliable, and not worth a crap. This is all over the Pro sound boards... Mackie made a huge blunder with the 8-buss boards.

I'd like to state for the record my 8 buss is 10 years old, has been used live extensively, and the only problem has been one fader failing. problems with the newer 8 buss consoles are usually fixed with the most recent ribbon cable revision.

Word, I've got one that is probably that old, has worked flawlessly day in and out for several years, I also run one at a facility I do live sound for, and it is also a big pimp.
Anyway, is this mixer still available?

Yes the mixer is still available and waiting for a new home so his daddy can buy more junk! $500 plus shipping gets it. I am in NY (14221).

Man you keep bumpin this thing, before ya know it you'll have it down to $400.00 plus shipping. :D (but before you do post that price, PM me and I will send you cash for it) ;)

Peace
AJ

I'll sell it on ebay before that price! These are going for well over $600 on ebay.
