Mackie ProFX8

Hi,

I have a Mackie ProFX8 V1.

My problem is that my MacBook just can't see it in Audacity.

Would anybody be able to help?

You are connecting the mixer to the computer via USB? Does the computer 'see' the mixer as a connected USB device? The problem is Audacity (I don't thinik it uses ASIO) or your Mac O/S

Is there another program you would suggest rather than Audacity?

Reaper is a full DAW that is free to download and try. $60 to register.
Cubase is free.
