Mackie ONYX????

so i know everyone on this board kinda laughs under their breath at mackie... some of you may even point... i know i am guilty of having my extreme doubts. but i am hearing a lot of good things about these new ONYX mixers. has anyone here had the pleasure, or displeasure, of listening to one... know anything worth passing on. if you know anything, dont be bashful, let us all know!!

I've heard them, and they sound good. Oh yeah but I guess I would be a rare fan then (Why people would hate Mackie is beyond me, except for their pricing is steep). The ONYX is expandable with firewire, and can act as an interface, but I haven't seen that in operation, and can't vouch for its abilities in that regards.

Oh, and to everyone who hates Mackie, 32-8 Bus ROCKS!!!
