Hi there, I'm a taiwanese, so my English is very very poor. Hope you guys can accept my broken English.......

I'm now looking forward to purchase a 2in/2out usb recording interface, and my OS is Windows 7 64bit, my recording software is Nuendo 4.3 and Adobe Audition 1.5&3.

After considering... I'm now want to decide between Mackie Onyx Blackjack & M-Audio Mobilepre.

Blackjack has a very good Mic pre and good looking for me, but on Mackie's official Forum, it seemed has very serious problem with its ASIO driver...the user of blackjack said as they opened Nuendo or the other recording software which need to start the ASIO driver, the sound comes out from mackie just like has a distortion effect.......and it seemes mackie has no ability to solve this driver's problem in a short term...

M-Audio Mobilepre has no particular advantage to me, but i think its ASIO driver seemes more stable then mackie's? But if I chose mobilepre, I must abandon Blackjack's good and its sound of mic pre.

Should I choose Blackjack and wait its new driver? or should i just choose mobilepre, it is good enough???

Thanks for everybody.

I joined just to answer your question. Get the M-Audio Mobilepre MKII

Mackie have yet to develop a working driver for Windows. The only happy customers are Mac ones.

I thought it was user error, until I went on their forums and saw everyone was having ASIO issues. Not just bad latency, but crackles pops and sometimes nothing at all.

It is USB 1.1 device. Great pres, awful awful drivers. They just released new ones a few days back, they didnt work for anyone either.
