Mackie Onyx 800r vs. Presonus DigiMAX 96K

to be used with a digi 002r for all different things,
mainly drums, electric guitar cabs, acoustic guitars and vocals (untill i get a new vocal pre)

any input?

Have owned both. Both are nice, but I prefer the Onyx. More detail than the Presonus (although if you find yourself in need of limiters, the Presonus is a good box).

Another benefit to the Onyx is 96kHz over ADAT via SMUX. The Digimax only does 96K over AES/EBU.

Yes I would agree having used both and after repairing a lot of Presonous equipment.Go the Mackie.
