Hi, in this setup connecting the Directs outs (db-25) to 2 audiofire 12 will get me the sound from de mixer to the PC for tracking right? So, where should I hook up the sound coming from the PC to the mixer? To the inserts or lines?

Well... I know it's not a very smart question.. :o

thanks to anyone who can help :)

Dude, I don't want to sound like an ass, but you don't have to post like you are texting, type in full sentences and use full words.

To answer your question, unless you are recording more than one instrument at a time, or micing drums, you don't even need the Mackie. The interface pre amps should be good enough to record with. Also, there should be a pair of stereo outs on the interface to connect a pair of monitors to.

If not, then you want to connect the stereo outs of the interface to a stereo in on the mixer, and hook up your monitors to the monitor outs. These may be marked as stereo out or CR out, and will more than likely be 1/4" inputs.
