Mackie MS pres vs VZL Pro pres

I was wondering how different these 2 pres are. The MS series doesn't have the XDR pres from what I found on Mackie's site, however, VZL Pros are just newer models of the MS series. Is there a huge difference that's even worth upgrading from MS VZL to VZL Pro?

Not really much of a difference. I think the VLZ Pros were a lot more marketing hype than anything else . . . Mackie just pulling the strings trying to give people a reason to upgrade and sell more mixers.
