mac question

i've just bought a second hand G4- and realised there is no serial port ( that my midi interface was using on my PC). Is the easiest way to put a PCI serial card?-if so which makes are mac compatable? is there any other solution?

You are probably better off getting a USB Midi interface,
they are usually about 30 bucks.

you need a GRIFFIN G4 PORT, not a PCI card.

where the phone symbol is, that's where the connection goes, the book will guide you to setting this up, then the cable from the MIDI INTERFACE to G4/port will be fine

make sure you use OMS 3.2.8 or FreeMidi, OMS is better suited
make your configurations and your set. hope your using DP3

((this will be very easy if you have a MOTU Interface, not so sure with other interfaces))
