too bad I'm not ready to buy a laptop just yet

I think when I am, I'll spring for one of those mac's that will boot OS and Windows. . .

That's true, I just wanted to stop procrastinating. I invested $2,000.00 in it
total, I'm looking for $1,600.00.

you know you could of out protools for it and you would be good for music apps...

and doesnt Reasons run on MACs also..

yeah, Reason run's fine, but there are programs that i like to use such as FL Studio, Photoshop and Cinema 4D that I would have to buy all over again.
 
Yeah, switching platforms is expensive.

Good luck selling the machine. You shouldn't have too much trouble, except that the new Intel "Macbook Pro" is out.

I'm not that fond of them, really, and not at all ready to jump to the new platform until all the apps I use run natively on it. Was thinking about getting a 17" 1.67 to tide me over until they've ironed out all the kinks, but my 15" 1.25 will have to do. My cash needs to go elsewhere these days.

I think there are enough people out there who feel the same way that your machine will get a decent price for you on ebay.

with virtualpc you can run photoshop and all the others window base programs on it with no problem...since you have OS X
 
I will give you a call this weekend if i find out anything about that for you..
