Yes, but the bad thing about the digi 001 is that u can't use Protools over version 6.4 I think. But for $500 u get a 001 and a G4 yes I would do that deal.
I would say it is certainly an attractive offer.. HOWEVER.. you can never be too careful.. if it looks too good to be true.. well you know how the saying goes.. You have to decide if it's money well spent.. If the equipment is in perfect working order than that is a very good deal.. maybe.. if you're going to be satisfied with it.. but if eventually you know you wll want something better... then you will have spent $500 just to spend x amount more to get what you really want.. if you already have a recording setup.. and if you know that you won't be satisfied with the 001 (I wouldn't be).. then I would save that $500 and add to it in order to get newer, and better gear.
