OK folks here's the latest clip from recording my triple rectifier. I think I am zero-ing in on the tone I am looking for. What do you think?

Here is the setup. Jackson Kelly W/ EMG ==> Mesa Boogie triple rec and matching cab ==> betaSM57a ==> Tascam US-122 ==> Nuendo 1.6.

PS. This is by no means a final mixdown. I just want to dial all instruments in to the mix, and get some decent feedback from the clinic before I record an hour or more music.

The tone you have going on is quite good, but it still sounds a bit muffled in the higher frequencies...if you are going for the squeaky high end death sound. But personally i find this tone much better than most death metal bands. It seems to need a high mid boost to help articulate it a bit. But as it is still sounds quite good. I like the vibe of this tune as well.
