If anyone has ever had success with this device...stop by and let me know what I did wrong. It's a simple single MIDI 1x1 in/out connection, with usb plug & play spec's. I had it routed from a Korg Triton Extreme 61 straight into my PC for session enslaving via Adobe Audition, but it never did activate. Plus Adobe said it was "out of reach". Would I have to get a different and separate MIDI interface that has more vast word clock capabilities?

Nothing??

Well....how about just some general rules of thumb for first-time MIDI ventures. Compatibility, Triggers, Good Interfaces, etc. Any info generous vets out there??

I've had one for a couple years, and it's always been fine--hooked up a Yamaha keyboard and DD-55 to my mac with no problems (and Yammis are supposed to have problems with macs). You might try it with a different computer to check, but it's possible you just got a defective UNO.

Thanks. The fact that Adobe said it was "Out Of Reach", didn't sit right with me. Is a DD-55 an interface?

DD-55 is an electronic drumset/MIDI controller. You might need to google around for some troubleshooting ideas. I just looked through my package, but didn't see anything like instructions--might be some on the CD, but it hasn't turned up yet.
