M-audio keystudios in reaper.

My keystudios midi keyboard just stops working after about 3 minutes of play, and I have to reboot reaper and it does it again. It is the newest version of reaper, and the keyboard is the 49. Plus, the new reaper midi editor is really hard for me to understand than the old one was. Any help?
