O opdev New member Nov 24, 2003 #2 I just bought one. It is 2 in (not 4). I think it sounds great. It worls well on my fancy Dell laptop but I am trying to make it work on my old Dell P3 500MHz machine. It DOES NOT work with a firewire card using the NEC chipset. You need to get one with TI chipset. They can recommend card. For PCI It was the Adaptec 4300. For laptop it was http://www.buy.com/retail/techspecs/product.asp?sku=10259303&loc=&rp=true&rpcc=CSPPR&PageFormat=8
