The regular 1010 does not.(I have 2)
I am not sure about the 1010 lt, it does have built in mic pres.

The 1010 doesn't have phantom power. it doesn't even have mic preamps.
All analog inputs and outputs are 1/4'' a.k.a. "large" jacks.
The 1010LT has 2 preamps but they don't come with phantom power either.

iv got a condencer Mic that i would like to use that needs phantom power will i need to buy a pre amp or is there a way that i could hook my 8 channle mixer up to the sound card to give me phantom power

If your mixer has direct outs, you can send all 8 mic channels into a 1010. If not, you could just use the mixers main out to feed two mic's to two ins of the interface. If you don't mind using an unbalanced connection, you can use the mixer inserts as direct outs.
