M-Audio delta 10/10 lt help

Whats up people. Hey I just got rid of my soundblaster and bought me the m audio. Only thing is.Im new to all this.I cant figure out how to hook my mixer up and get the mic sounds to record into the computer through the mixer. I got mic sounds through the sound card. So how do I hook my mixer up right where I can have mymic sounds go through it. And also when my mic goes through my soundcard. It records into the computer but when I record I dont get sound through my speakers. But I can listen to it after I record. is it suppose to be like that. Thank you.
 
Hi. I also have a delta 1010 and cool edit. I understand your problems well, but you're pretty vauge. Give me the specific model of your mixer and delta 10/10 (some had box, some breakout cable). Also, keep the sound blaster in the computer and use it for your pc output (for normal computer sound and monitoring). If you have the delta1010 and a sound blaster in your computer, then we have the same thing and I can tell you exactly how to set your stuff up. I just need your mixer brand/model.
 
dont use your origanal sound card for monitering just set outputs 1 and 2 to monitering. you need to connec the direct outs of your mixer to the corispoding input on the delta 1010. then in the mixer view of the m-audio mixer thing. center all the input fades so when u moniter a live sound t will play in both ears

ok cool thanks guys, let me give that a shot,my bad.I aint been online the last few days. but let me try taht and see if it works. and nukeitout I already got rid of the sound blaster. Andmy mixer is an allessis 12 channel wit built in vocal processer and build in preamps. I for got what modelit is but Ill try and find out.

oh yeah and I aint using the original sound card. Its still in my pc but I aint got nuthing hooked into it.
