Hopefully someone here can help me out. One of my speakers just stopped working. I checked the fuse and even took the fuse from the bad monitor and swapped it into the working one and the working one still powered. I opened up the broken speaker and checked for any lose connections. I saw nothing strange. The funny thing is it stopped working, then came on one more time for a day or two and hasn't come back on since. I know if I take it somewhere I am going to end up spending too much to fix it so if anyone here has any thoughts to entertain on this I would appreciate the help.

Thanks

Sounds like you've already done the two things I would do.

Bite the bullet and take it to the repair shop.

.

I've always been impressed with M-audio's customer service. Even if it's out of warranty they'll fix it and treat you right. Call them up to get a number, I forgot exactly what they call it, but it's the equivalent of a help desk ticket number. Send it in with the number clearly marked on the box and they'll take good care of it.

Geez, how long had you had them? Did you get them new?

Thats my experience also. I RMA'd my BX's after a modular synth mishap that burned out my tweeters (literally), they fixed them for free
